Happy new year

2016 was sort of a shit year for me. (If you want the full details, you can head over here and read my whole cancer story.) So when it came time to produce our annual New Year’s card, I didn’t mince words. I laid it out there on a double thick A7 card and our friends and family were greeted first with the front:

But we brought some optimism for 2017 on the back with room to write a personal note. I’ve never received so many texts and phone calls for a card I’ve sent before. I’m considering making this a template for future New Year’s cards available on the store, because maybe 2017 will suck for you (I sincerely hope it doesn’t). Either way, we always end with something positive — the pity party can only last so long before you have to address what you’re dealing with, right?
